Loved the results I got the first time using this magnet with the mooncat polish! Excited to try out more magnetic polishes with this magnet. This picture you can see the difference between the cat eye and the velvet look.

Theres no comparison to other "U-shaped" or horseshoe magnets. I have 2 of the regular size velveteen magnets and they are my favorite tool! They're super convenient, easy to use, compact yet roomy enough for fingers, lightweight and fantastic quality. They create the most incredible velvet effect possible. These are a must have!

Perfect and easy use for velvet effect nails. Wayyyy prettier than the ones found elsewhere. My only regret is that I didn’t order more than one to do more than one nail at a time. And the packaging it came in was so cute!

So lightweight and easy to use! Really wide opening so it’s a lot more comfy to have your finger resting on it than trying to squash it between a regular horseshoe magnet. It’s also way cheaper than any of the magnets I saw on Amazon, not to mention way prettier! Love the colour selection. I went with rainbow silk :) adding a photo of the final results. Velvetizes like a charm

I love this addition to my manis when I want to use a magnetic polish! I did my 8 year old’s nails using it and she was so amazed by the velvet effect and I often catch her staring at her hands.

Don’t waste your money on the mainstream strong pull magnet! This is cute, light weight, and works perfectly! 10/10 would recommend support a small business instead of big name !

More specifically I hope you have narrow thumbs because she snug on mine.
I was really hoping that this wouldn’t be too small and for my fingers I might have a millimeter or two of wiggle room. Also definitely cannot use on my toes…. Otherwise it did a good job at magnetizing it’s a 24lb pull.

I got the Sidekick in Amethyst Tide too, and it's so so gorgeous, just like the photos. Like a little throne for the magnet, LOL. It works perfectly to do the reverse velvet style.

I bought this in Amethyst Tide color, and it really looks just like the pictures!! So beautiful and shiny. The smaller size works well for me. It does the velvet and reverse velvet styles perfectly!! And it looks really cute with my other nail polish supplies.

The magnet itself works great, no issues. I was very sad to see the color looked nothing like the picture, but after reading the disclaimers I see this is something that happens.

I have been searching and searching for these U-shaped or horseshoe magnets and they were all really expensive or had crazy wait times. I found SJ3 Designs through a random YouTube short. Found the velveteen magnets and said, yep, that’s what I’m looking for. Love the size and color options. They’re super lightweight yet have a really strong pull to get the desired velvet nail effect. I got one in each size and I’m very happy with them.

I was mostly happy with this magnet. it's easy to use, light, and makes a great velvet style on my nails. I bought this magnet because I wanted to put a bar magnet over it to make a swoopy magnet style but it just simply didn't work. I'm not sure if the polarity of the two magnets were facing the same way so it repelled the bar magnet in a way that I couldn't use the bar magnet in the way I wanted.

I have just started really doing my nails in the last year. Love the magnetic polishes but never got the effect that I saw online moving the "free" magnet around my fingers. Saw a reference to your Velveteen magnet and I ordered 2. Fantastic product. Have now placed a 2nd order for the bar magnet and holder.

The SJ3 magnet is so lightweight but is an absolute workhorse. The logistics of creating a velvet finish is greatly simplified without having to juggle the polish brush and a handheld magnet. Definitely worth the money.

So great! I’ve only used these one and they already make such a difference. I’m a nail polish lover on a budget who gets hand tremors— SJ 3Designs makes my life so much better!

lovely gorgeous colorways available! in hindsight, i should have ordered a dark color bc I keep getting nail polish on mine, but its so pretty to use & look at. this works really well for making the perfect velvet nails

Color is great and work very well

this tool works so precisely in giving me velvetized nails that have that very gradual flash I couldn't achieve with just the regular little wands. I also like that it uses less strong magnets than 30lb to reduce chance of causing electrical issues.

I love all the colors it comes in, I only wish the branding was on the bottom for aesthetic reasons.

I've not usually got the patience for my magnetic polishes, but I decided to give this magnet a try for all the wonderful things I'd heard about it. It did NOT disappoint! I simply slathered a thick coat of magnetic polish, dropped a finger into the magnet for 1-2 minutes as it dried, and BAM! the most perfect velveteen effect I've ever seen. This will have me using my poor magnetics SO much more now!

Very pretty filament and a great design! Finally I can do a perfect velvet nail easily.

My order got lost in transit, the customer service was nice enough to replace it free of charge. A week later UPS sent me an invoice for duty charges which costed more than the original order... im alittle upset as it wasnt my fault that the original package was lost.

Other than that, the magnet works really well. Easy to use, and i love thay it comes in multiple colours. I hope next time i order i wont have to deal with duty charges.
